Ivan Diaz

Undergraduate Geomatic Engineering Student at California State University, Fresno.

Hi, I'm Ivan.

A senior Geomatics Engineering student at Fresno State, with a background in IT. I’m now applying that experience to geospatial systems, where precision, efficiency, and field tech come together.

My work spans GNSS, photogrammetry, mapping workflows, and displacement monitoring—both in the field and in the office. I’m especially interested in low-power, high-accuracy positioning systems and tools that streamline LiDAR and geospatial data processing.

This portfolio includes projects from coursework, research, and industry collaborations. I’m currently applying to the CSU Fresno graduate program in Civil Engineering.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad of three. They keep me grounded—and they’re a big part of why I take this work seriously.

I’m looking for a summer role in surveying, GIS, civil engineering, or geospatial tech. Feel free to reach out at summer2025 [at] ivandiaz.net or connect with me below.
